OUR TEAM

SAFETY

Thompson Recycle Company has a commitment to Zero Accidents at its job sites. We believe that maintaining safety at our mobile recycling plants is the responsibility of every employee—field workers, supervisors, office staff, and ownership—and we have developed the following steps to assure safety for our workers:

ZERO

ACCIDENTS.

STEP 1:

Make sure everyone is committed to safety as our number-one priority.

STEP 2:

Set clear standards for maintaining a safe workplace.

Employees need to understand the rules and supervisors need to enforce safety standards.

STEP 3:

Practice, practice, practice.

From helping teach new employees best practices, to reminding each other on the job site to work safely, we need to make a daily commitment to working together to stay safe.

STEP 4:

Look for teachable moments.

We will learn from any near-miss situations or hazards to quickly correct any safety concerns. We will share information effectively across our job sites to protect all employees and our customers from injury.

STEP 5:

Review and adapt.

We will routinely review our program and adjust standards as needed to achieve our goal of Zero Accidents. We will involve a variety of employees in developing and reviewing our safety standards.

Safety Takes Every Person!
